It has been brought to my attention that Death_Kiss may or may not be multi accounting.. Funny as this has come from an ex -Mod.. I am not Mod baiting just stating the facts.

Now being the player she is, she has left our alliance until this matter is cleared by ZE.. I will not state the second account/players name but this ex-mod has reported Death_Kiss for multi accounting based on IP address..being very similar to her own..
So I have made some checks and gained some facts and have discovered the following information.. I wish anyone to check this themselves. However if a player uses a proxy service. the following can occur..

Two ppl from different locations on the planet can be seen as they where on the same subnet. So it may look as they are on the same service providers subnet or, company office or even same house. All they have to do is to use the same open proxy service. In this instance it looks like the open proxy gives away its own ip but gives the clients a unique address.

So it might be possible that Anna and her friend are in fact using same anonymous proxy service and hence the confusion.

imho Zorg should have implemented a "detect IP" routine so he could "ipconfig" the real IP from the zorg client present at the users computer and not relate to whatever junk a proxy sends.

Anyway! To put it short: Yes! users from all over the world might be exposed as they came from the same location if the open proxy is configured that way.

There are three different proxy services:

1. Forward proxy
2. Open proxy
3. Reverse proxy

Forward proxy will forward ant request from your internal clients and send them to services outside of the proxy. Your ip will be exposed.

Open proxy is a service on the Internet where you are able to surf anonymously. Your ip will be fake or cloned whatever the system is designed to to. The product “Hide your IP” and “Stealth Anonymous” use open proxies on the Internet to hide the real ip of an user hence making your real ip undetectable for service providers.

Reverse proxy hide all internal IP addresses and you only show the proxy ip. So if you have 10 clients behind your proxy they will all be seen as 1 device unit Ip wise for services on the Internet.

So when I log on from my home pc’s they are all seen as 1 address regardless which computer or device I use as a web browser (http/https protocol). All normal D-Link, Netgear, Cisco wifi- routers etc. has this built in.

I found this on the net, which indicates that the address 86.122.108.xx is in fact being used by the anonymous proxy service.

So in my opinion I would not judge Anna as a cheat only security minded.

Zorg should implement better internal detection routine. All he need is to grab the clients mac address and use that as a filter. Then only n00bs level 5 would be able to trick him with spoofing of mac addresses

Hopefully Zorg will listen to reasoning.

well people think that me and Mrniceguy are the same people but we are not just when we are both on we are in our I.T class room at school lol and our online times and points are way dirffrent just saying

I would suggest you bring the matter to administration rather than discussing the issue on the forums,
They will investigate the matter further and deal with it appropriately
