What about the "stomping on ants" thing - no responses?
I'd like to see the Destructive = Constructive hypothesis expanded further. Get with it for goodness sake!

Have you ever actually tried to stomp on ants? They're tricky little buggers. First off, they're tough. They can take a beating. Secondly, they're quick. For their size, anyway. And lastly, they adapt. They go into grass where you can't see them, or into the cracks in the pavement. It's damn hard to stomp on an ant when you can't reach it.Dr-J wrote:What about the "stomping on ants" thing - no responses?
No. I was making a metaphor.Dr-J wrote:Are we confusing the complicated landscape enforcing complicated action for intelligence?
I personally think that the fact that you have not received a warning for this clear Mod baiting yet anyways shows extreme leniency from the moderation team, do not push your luck with them.Dr-J wrote:The moderator showed clear bias in any case, so I wasn't going to get any useful responses I don' think.
I believe it was Witchy who said that, and she is not a mod.Dr-J wrote: "I know these people, I don't know you from a bar of soap"
Posts are only edited if they violate the forums rules. I didn't see your original post, so I don't know what the edited parts were, but the posting of PM's or full CR's are not permitted on the forums.Dr-J wrote:another selectively edits postings.
I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say, here, but I was just saying that there are ways to avoid getting "stomped" by the bigger people.Dr-J wrote:@Karrothmelu
The metaphor would only be close to valid if our operational intuitions (I won't say knowledge) with respect to ants were aligned somehow with the social behaviour of people.
Glad we have one moderator with some common sense.
