That was my first phalanx hit. I destroyed the fleet, however this is not the reason why I 'm posting this. What I would like the community to know is that the player in question took the hit with such sportsmanship that only very few players have demonstrated up to now, most of whom, I 'm proud to say, are members of my alliance.
The player went even further: instead of curses, mocking and whining, I received PMs of jokes about the situation, smilies and greetings. And it's the player's whole fleet we are talking about.
I think that such players add value to the game.
Previously, I used to think that only infrastructure is important. That fleet is something expendible.
Now that I 'm building a serious fleet, I tend to feel otherwise.
Am I going to be able to demonstrate the same character when the time comes for me to loose my fleet? I 'll have to see for myself, because I don't know.

All DF recovered. In the process of timing the phallanx hit and the recyclers, I forgot to include cargo ships in my fleet. I took only what my battleships could carry

i thru my fleet into harms way to stop someone that was offline from gettin peppered..i know how i'll feel about it. That was part of the challange..i mean must be good times knowing you'll never lose..bet the heart rate exceds 70 bps all the way to 71 bps.
