Alright, in this game there is a person, Sally, who likes things that have something in common, and dislikes things that don't share the trait.

For example,
Sally likes books, but not reading
Sally likes noodles but not rice
Sally likes carrots but not celery

In this case, Sally likes things with double letters in them: books has a double 'o'.

I'll post the first one, and if there's interest, I'll think up more.

Problem Number One:

Sally likes aces but not spades
Sally likes bells but not baubles
Sally likes first but not second

The rule has nothing to do with the number of letters in the word, though I found it surprisingly difficult to think of a word that fit the rule that was also longer than 5 letters. In any case, here's another clue:

Sally likes almost but doesn't like close.

she likes words that can't be interpreted as something else,
second= number in order or time.
Spades= shovel blades, or card symbols
Close= almost, or close like shut
Baubles= ornaments, or children's toys.

This is seriously eating away at my brain, still can't solve it after a whole day. D:
