We have tried this in BETA like a year ago. We even have the script ready. However, the idea was aborted because while it looks nice at first, it really makes gameplay a lot harder. It reduces time to find a foe, send a mission etc. It ends up really fustrating.
We could put it as an option though, although it would get a low priority.

#23The boss man shot it down what can we say?Hold a poll and if favorable put it through some more testing.

#24The Beta Testing was a year ago, however, and I'm sure we have a lot better ideas on how to get around those certain issues today. We're more prepared for it and I don't think having the B-Team try it out will hurt any.

#25How busy is the beta schedule with all these implementations though?

#26imagine being trapped in a flooding tornado with lightning in the center of a planet covered in active volcanoes with no atmosphere in deep space and trying to escape quickly. thats about how busy they are

Re: Interactive Galaxy Menu Graphics
#27Nice metaphor, Seth. It's really a large scale project and the Beta Crew has their hands full as it is, I mean look at the schedule of everything they have to test, which right now is mostly the speed universe.

#29This obviously wouldn't be and isn't a priority-type idea, it's not as if we have to get it done ASAP. What's the rush?
