Hey All,

Anyone here a Stargate fan, any opinions on the new franchise? It’s quite different....like Battlestar meets Stargate. I'm not so sure I'm a fan yet, I liked the light humour and intrigue of the last two series... This one sorta makes me feel like I'm at work!!

hi i only saw the sg1 serie and half the atlantis cause they stopped playing that for another show how is the new stargate serie called???

Called Stargate Universe

Not seen it. I liked SG-1 until they started dropping characters. I lost all interest when they replaced O'neill, and tried for a new cast. It just didnt work for me.
Atlantis I quite liked, despite the definite similarities to SG-1. Shephard was essentially Oneill, and whatsername was the tealc of the group, ie the alien warrior who is stupidly competent at everything. But it worked.
Ive not heard anything from universe, but Im not sure if I want to to be honest. That it feels like work is a poor recommendation!
Ill need to get the series and rewatch them sometime...

Eh, I never really liked any of the Stargates, but SG Universe is ok. I couldn't get into them switching the charactors all the time, and I had a time keeping up...
