No You don't need a plan. You can have a plan. Like mine i send Attacking ships in then i'll send in recyclers to clean up the rest. Think about it. Its really easy and you don't need to have waves of ships. More Ships may be destoryed faster than just the normal way.

actually u do need a plan.... not necessarily waves but a plan. u dont want to send 2k BS against 200 death stars and say i just want df ull lose way more than ull get u need a plan but nt waves.....i honestly do do waves if theres too many defences i ipm all i can then send 500-700 bombers to take defences then my real fleet enters.......and now u new players have the combact simulator check there first. before that we had to go with our guts and had a higher risk of losing, i havent lost once since that simulator has come out. so analyze every info ur espionage reports the simulator the ships u have can u take it and then launch
