Didn't put this in Game Suggestions for obvious reasons:
I propose that only the winner of a battle be allowed to post the results in the Union of Honor. If the loser of the battle posts the results first, then he or she should be warned and the topic deleted or locked.
Its only fair and keeps sore losers from diminishing the winner's triumph.
Re: Forum Suggestion: Union of Honor
#2I agree, unless the winner gives permission. Ths ruins "staying under the radar" for those who don't want to become targets.

#4I dont agree. A loser should be allowed to post the hit. both parties involved in a hit have equal rights in posting.
You can't stop me I'm on a boat!
Re: Forum Suggestion: Union of Honor
#6Agreed, some players don't need the advertising about he/she raiding action.

gonna shed a different point of view to this thread..not that i agree or disagree ... but i totally disagree with this point made by eric.
how often do we see a loser post the CR of all the hits made. For the truck loads of people i have crashed i get no response..you're gonna make me quit..or nice hit.If i crashed someone and they wanted to post more power to em. Thus far none have cause everyone knows my fleet at this point.
If i was still new and i started hitting other active people..then i just took myself out of the 'under the radar' stand point and openned myself up to be hit back. It's very hard to stay under the radar at this point anyhow. All the top fleeters watch the rankings and the only way to avoid detection is to make sure all your ships are off the ground at every update.
1 quick probes of your colonies to see how many ss's you have subtract that count from what we see on updates and we know the # of ships you have ..might not know what your ship makeup is but thats what they make probes for.
I guess i just talked myself into agree'n to disagree here and say any attack made is a chance that your fleet make up can be exposed...and add that the experienced players will really have not much to worry about cause chances are they FS religously anyhow and launch from moons whenever possible.
right or wrong thats my 2 cents on the take
Re: Forum Suggestion: Union of Honor
#8i think players of zorg should be able to post what they want on the forum within reason and as long as they not swearing being abusive etc
get warned and have post deleted for posting a combat report?! sometimes i feel like i am playing this game in a prison cell in 1940's germany

Re: Forum Suggestion: Union of Honor
#9I would have to disagree here. Considering the fact that BOTH the winner and the loser were involved, I feel either should be able to post the CR...
HOWEVER, I feel that it would be common courtesy (if the loser wishes to post it), that the loser pm the winner and ask him/her if they are going to post the hit. If the winner says no or does not respond in 24 hours, I say the loser should post it if he/she wants.
As for warning/deleting or locking the topics for the hit, there is currently nothing in the rules that make it against the rules for loser to post a CR.
