There's no "luck" about it. I've been doing this for years. I've gone through sweat, blood, and snapped bones (literally) to get where I'm at today ^^.

Capoeira :)

And, from what I've heard, its almost entirely useless if you in an actual fight. Heard its a great way to get in shape, but almost all martial arts is great to get in shape with o.O

As for the drunken boxing thing...Doesn't that only work if they actually think you're drunk? I'm pretty sure if they know what you're doing, you just end up getting a face full of *Insert appendage here*...

Unless I'm just entirely mistaken on the purpose of it. Which I thought was to just lure people into a false sense of security and then throat punch them

there was a clip on youtube where this "kung fu" guy using drunken fist just get his face pumped full of shots to the face against a regular tkd guy. it was funny the tkd guy kicked him in the face so many times but since tkd is pointles and has no power he fight went on for a while
You can't stop me I'm on a boat!

Sadbutrue,

Tae-Kwon-Do is most definately NOT pointless. You have to put your ENTIRE dedication to it. It's an actual LIFESTYLE than just a training program. The stuff they put you through to teach you is brutal - literally. But because they're so hard on you, you begin to grasp a better knowledge in heated situations of fighting. It's as if you see your opponet moving in slow motion, so by the time THEY figure out what they're going to do, you already know and have them on their back. Definately the best weapon anyone can have in their arsenal. Take it from someone who's expirienced :D.
