Regarding Martial Arts, I think that one should really try Medieval Western European Swordsmanship.
(I 'm a teacher in this thing, it's all about chivalric arts and philosophy).
When it comes to eastern martial arts, I suggest Aikido (Japanese, the Korean counterpart is Hapkido).

If you tell me (in game PM if you don't want to post it here) the country where you live, I can have a look if something exists in your country and tell you.

Unfortunately, there is no Western European Swordsmanship school that I know of in Japan.
However, you can try Iaido or Kendo. If you take out the weight of the sword, shield and armour, the principles are exactly the same.

While all martial arts is nice to know, I think I have to lean towards the more native methods (Native for myself).

Kick-boxing=WIN.

Wrestling=WIN.

Though I've always thought of learning BJJ...Never got around to it. I'll do it eventually, I suppose.

Not a fan of the Eastern Martial Arts, really. They aren't bad, I just don't really care for them as much.
