Energy question

#1
hey, I recently rejoined the game after a year or so abcense.

I am in the speed universe.

I want to know at what solar plant level does it become more efficient to use sats.

Also are fusion reactors effective?

My planets temp in C (which determines eff. of sats) is 47-87
i am getting 83 energy from my one accidental solar sat by the way.

Thanks in advance

Solar plants do not affect solar sats. Sats are affected by planet temperature only.

Fusion reactors become very effective if your energy tech level is high.

Formula noted in Zorg not quite accurate. Here's what I learned in Standard (all figures here are for Standard)

Formula noted in Zorg is ==> 30 * [Level Fusion Plant] * (1,05 + [Level Energy Technology] * 0,01) ^ [Level Fusion Plant]

However, level 11 fusion plant with 19 level energy tech per this formula should yield 3516.83892

Instead, it yields 8791

Likewise, level 12 fusion plant with 19 level energy tech per this formula should yield 4757.32392

Instead it yeilds 11892

My belief is that the stated formula must be multiplied by some other factor.

8791/3516.83892 is 2.49968799

11892/4757.32392 is 2.49972468

At energy tech 20, the Zorg formula for level 11 reactor would yield 3841.70562

Instead, the yield is 9603

Likewise, at energy tech 20, the Zorg formula for level 12 reactor would yield 5238.68948

Instead, the yield is 13096

9603/3841.70562 is 2.49967097

13096/5238.68948 is 2.49986185

If we carry the multiple to five decimal places, rounding down the sixth, we get the same end result

If we carry the multiple to four decimal places, rounding down the fifth, we get the same end result

If we carry the multiple only to three decimal places, we get discrepancies.

I'm still unable to account for the variation.

Still, this is significant improvement - and, as you can see, higher level fusion reactors get increasingly more powerful output of energy the higher the energy tech level.
