Gozar[AZGD] vs jwalkxxx [SGA]~TD~3.733.430.350

First I would like to apologise for the delay in posting this hit.. Hopefully the reason will unfold.. This started when I moved in on a small fleet Bird55125 had left down. I sent a roamer to deal with this more over as there are a large number of SGA members nearby.
The small hit went down.. but while checking surrounding systems I noticed a few Large moons belonging to SGA members that were in VM... knowing that jawlkxxx uses this moon regularly.. I considered with that impossible moon to destroy now out of use.. who's moon would he use instead.. I guessed Fleethounds moon a few systems over being large but now within my remit would be his choice.. So the MD mission was sent..1st to Fleethounds moon then jwalkxxx's...

my hunch deduction (I had also been watching over a short period).. paid off... both moons gone jwalkxxx's fleet fell on lanx... I decided as I had over 12hours before his fleet return to relocate my roamer to the same system..

Now the following attacks were sent.. in order of time.. the 1st attack on a exact second hit was my LG's dropped in front of the 2nd shown attack of rips and destroyers.. shown on my over view as 1 second behind jwalk's fleet.. the 3rd being 3/5 seconds behind.. Now the reason for the delay in this post..As you can see from the attack reports the LG's and the rips hit at the same time..now based on this rule the 1st fleet launched hits the returning fleet.. hence my fleet loss.. This really confused me as my over view clearly showed my rips/destroyers 1 second behind and thus this rule should not have come into effect.

I took all this information to ZE...they at first did not accept what I had sent but on further request to check logs and battle engine a bug was discovered between the time stamp on the overview and the time stamp of the battle engine.. This has now been fixed with the overview now taking the time stamp from the battle engine...thus this bug can never occur again.. what this meant was the rips should have show the same time as the LG's if I had known this I could have recalled or resent to be behind as meant.. I would like to thank ZE for their effort and for the return of my 8875 destroyers shown as a loss...The difference was deducted from the df collected..

I ended up with about 1.6 billion less the deduction of the destroyers...I think fleethound managed to collect the difference..

regardless of this it was a profitable hit..I will say Glotr to jwalkxxx despite your remark of me being a looser...think you will find that was you... on the other hand a bug was discovered and fixed so maybe we can say all in ZE are the winners..

I must admit, no one likes being hit and loosing their fleet. I know I didn't like it, but at least I know that there was a possibility of loosing it and as such, would be a good sport about it.

In other words, nice hit Gozar, big numbers that we have come to expect from you.

GLotR jwalkxxx, next time try to be a good sport about things, it is only pixels on a screen after all.

That was the first ninja attempt of the week that got crossed off the list. I had the luxury of hrs to plan, unplan, and circle back to the fact that jwalkxxx was toast as soon as my moon went AWOL. Came down to a massive recycle attempt. Gozar has the skills of a nuclear calculator it seems at times, and it was a lot of fuel (in my budget) to fail. I got in close and hoped he had a bit of lag and myself a bit of luck. Thanks to Gozar for being so efficient that he noticed a 1 sec bug. I know some of you think 'why does HE need his ships back', but if it happened to him it can happen to any of us and be a much more dramatic loss. Good work Gozar, hurry up jwalkxxx.
