Surveys

As you may have already noticed, we have published a survey in each universe.

This is the first time we use such a way to communicate with the playerbase and we intend to repeat it in the future. It is not as much prepared as we would like and not as detailed but truth is that we need some answers on some more broad issues this time more than specific concerns of each universe.

Surely though, because our universes are different, they have different needs. This is why the next surveys will be universe - specific, including questions on how to improve the specific universe. For this reason, we have created a sticky in each discussion of each universe, in which you can share your ideas of which questions we should include in our questionnaire.

In this way, you have the power to set a concerning issue (in your opinion at least) before the whole playerbase of the universe. Replies then received on the matter will help us determine which will be the best action to take.

This will not replace or deprecate the forum usage so far, with suggestions and etc. This will act mostly as a supplementary way to decide key issues regarding the game. After all, in these 3 years we have reached a breaking point in discussion regarding crucial matters only because we weren't certain about the whole picture. Surveys will help us overcome this obstacle.

Feel free to share here overall ideas about the surveys.

The surveys are a good idea and I thought they were well thought out. Obviously you can always go into more detail, but I think these will be usefull for you. I think something that might help, since the uni's are so different is some sort of mission statement for each one. Each uni by design, evolution, or accident catters to unique playing styles. In theory, the operators had an idea of what they were aiming for at the point of creation.

We don't want a case where one uni was created to favor aggression and another to favor peace, then have the two converge because the player choose where to play at random.
Outside the box? What box?
