Hello, everyone. My first post here. I've been slowly building up my fields, research and a small fleet.
I have one specific question. There is a player that has decided to continuously attack me for whatever reason. His technology far surpasses mine, so I cannot really defend myself very well. I am fleeting to keep whatever ships I can out of harms way, but it is rather annoying. What do people usually do in this case?
a. Fight back against overwhelming odds, get my *** kicked, and exacerbate the issue.
b. Contact this person and ask for mercy.
c. Contact an alliance and request help to fend off the attacker.
d. Other.
I have enjoyed the basics of the game. I read the basic player types and was content to be a miner for a while, but this issue is going to force me to be a Fleeter/Miner. I can endure, but being under constant attack can prove challenging. I hope you have some recommendations for me. If I am out of line, tell me so.
Thanks and happy gaming.
Re: How to not get discouraged.
#3Dont be profitable. If there is no fleet to crash or no resources to take, then it would be a waste of deuterium to attack you.

#4ok, I read the HOw to fleetsave thread, Tactical and Strategic. How do I protect resources? Do I constantly pool them onto the Large Cargo Ships to keep them safe? If so, then that means I need to have the resources funneling everyday to the large Cargo Ships. Is there a cap on fleetsize? If not, then that concludes questions for now.

#5The only cap in the game is planet fields and number of colonies. Everything else is infinite.
