Instant recycling?

#1
I've been attacked a many times and when I goto recycle after a DF has been created, there is nothing there. Its like the person who attacked me instantly recycled the resources before I even had a chance. I don't understand how someone can beat me to a recycle above my own planet. I mean you can't get any closer than that. :boohoo: Anyone care to explain?

Its possible to send recyclers to a planets empty DF slot ;)

What is happening in your case is the attack fleet is timed to arrive 1 second in front of the recyclers so the DF is recycled within a single second.

So the player who is attacking you will already have their recyclers on route even before the attack has took place :)

Yep, that is what I would do. Timing is everything, especially with the DF hungry players out to get your hard earned work. ;)

You just time it. It's nothing too special. You have your overview in one window and your fleet screen ready to launch in another. When the time comes where launching would get you a nice small gap, you click the continue button and voilá.

I'm sorry, I forgot to put that in. You use 2 windows, one with your overview, and one with your launching fleet. If you're sending fast ships, send your recs first. If you're sending RIPs, send your recs after. Then, which ever fleet you have to launch, put in one tab, and in the other you're overview with the fleet that's already going on that. Then you just got to time it right and get them close together.

edit:/ Karroth beat me to it.
