The state of the universe

#1
The goal of this thread is to provide a realible refrence point to all the players in X-treme universe.

the method of doing this is simple. You state where you feel the power lies[turtles, miners, fleeters, noobs, elite, etc.]
or what alliance you think is in which niche.
or basicly anything you can think of about the current physics of the game.

please no flaming but it is understandable and encouraged if there are mild arguements.this will provide a more accurate sampling.

so what do you think about the nature of the universe?

Hm..I like this topic, I think the power lies in fleeters, Alliances..well BR 13 Elites, Kriegstriberen..a little of everything Great alliance btw, Stellar primes eh not sure..I don't see much of anything there probably just miners but I don't consider them noobs, AoV..eh Great farming mines..I mean Miners/noobs sorry  , AoD..good Turtles, 4HM definitely Elites no mistaking that, RAWK Miners and some of the best at it I think. well I guess that wraps it up. :D

The power is in fleeters. This however does not mean that it is the correct style for everyone.

As for alliances, 4hm is the top of the food chain. A step down there is ZEFA grata and BR. Then you have your AoD and Eterna. The other groups are a little below that, doesn't mean things can't change though, and that is what makes this uni so interesting.

hard to say where any 'real' power lies player, alliance wise.Even harder to say where it could have been had we received that all promised ACS attack and the new ships and no real idea as to when we will get that.

The beta team was assembled poorly once again as only 2 or 3 was trying to accomplish what they was assembled for while the others just treated it as another playground, ultimately going inactive after they lost everything from attacks.(Perhaps find the next group who we 'actually' try to find defects in programming so they can be fixed and go live more quickly)

Many small hits are made by many fleeters and bravo for those attemping the high risk high reward aspect.
Turtles are growing but with the recent add a few light fighters to the RiPs discovery it strectches just how many rips vs the turtle can go.So something 4 or 5k rips would have been needed to do alone 2 to 3k can do with just 10k fighters.

The recent Thorr/Right encounter is EXACTLY why i always overkill when i launch. The issue is only a few have enough ships to overkill now with the population of RiP growth increasing. And with that the state of the uni will be slow and fewer hits of high magnitude.

With that end growing the amount of res left on planet can be small and be turtled but the cost to send 18 200+ rip raids like i just did earlier is next to nothing so profit is still higher than your own planet production. And yes that 2 hours of invested raid time just means the RiP count grows even more as it is silly not to make them.

Organized Chaos equals the state of the galaxy!

I agree greatly with Death/Gumppy here. The big hits have been dying down but there seems to be a rising, "middle class" here, made mostly of turtles that have a small fleet for raiding. It seems to me as if the miners have died down a bit.

As for the alliances I think RoG and AoV are making good raids but, they could (if their leaders took the time to teach some of their members good lessons on survival skills) become some rather strong alliances when ACS attack comes out (however they may have some trouble because large alliances don't always get along so well.) I don't think it will be long until some of the larger alliances begin to split or declare war upon alliances they stand no chance against (like i did with E~A).

I certainly think everyone has begun to go their own way and the exitement of the game has gone down a bit (not as many wars that everyone is watching). However i do believe that soon enough something signifigent will happen.

ill agree with a couplepeople here, miners are dying down, but 4hm still top, then BR, ZEFA, then AoD (turtle wise) then RAWK mining wise.....
but its a good thread to open,

good to see some people responding so I think I'll state my mind.

there definatly is less big hits going on now.

I think the power remains with the fleeters but If thier numbers keep growing and some new weapons that added a little stratagy to the turtles arsenal were implemented that could change.Turtles are at a destinct disadvantage in that they are far less versitile so they will either branch out and as said earlier try a little fleeting or wait it out until the next update.

as for alliances I think It is pretty much as it looks.the top of the food chain preys on the level below which preys on the next, etc.but with acs attack coming out alliances will be far more unstable varing depending on how acs affects them.

I'm just going to lay low and hope everyone beats everyone else up.

I noticed a rising "middle class" but most of them are turning to being turtles, As for ACS Attack I expected it long ago so the thought of it faded away so till it comes out I'm probably not putting much thought into the "what ifs", But alliances that would benefit I think would be Kreigstriberen and ROG, AoV would if they could shape up their members they are slacking kinda just basicly farms now, Kriegstriberen and ROG though would definitely benefit from ACS Attack and it time I do believe they will rise and double in strength, and the comment about ROG's leaders teaching about survival, well maybe that is something that is focused on but some just don't listen, just a thought that is most likely the reason other alliances have the problem don't focus on just a few alliances it goes for many, surprised I would have to tell a player that, well common sense isn't all that common I suppose. eh I don't think the large alliances would declare war on another upcoming alliances it happens and they've just dealt with it by continuing on regardless.
Excitement is gone..yes no big changes or important things happening so I'm just waiting for something to watch, like a large alliance declaring war on another like BR 13 vs. AoD, that'd give a big boost to the excitement around here.
BTW is there any aggression between any of the Bigger alliances, that we could except anything exciting out of?
I also think the current power is with the fleeters but it could shift to the turtles in time.

i think the miners have the most power because they pump resources out faster than the fleeters can take away. also, when they get the resources they pump it into buildings and research. if they wanted to a miner could become a powerful fleeter or turtle. a miner has the ability to watch and strike when necessary or to listen and bulk up for defense they have ultimate power.

I don't know why everybody says miners have so much power. Yeah, they have buildings that can't be destroyed by people. But they have a limit on how much they can have, and each level of a building costs more and more, unlike both turtles and fleeter's, who's cost of building stays the same. Plus, where's the fun in never getting attacked, or never crashing a fleet?
