I have noticed that over the years many accounts have gone inactive.. I understand that if these accounts have over 50 Rubies they do not get removed.. Where I agree that these players having purchased these Rubies to maintain their account is acceptable...(so they are able to return to the game in the future) in my opinion there should be a time frame placed on this.. Many ex players who have no intention of returning allowed their accounts to go (iI) instead of V moding to allow old allies to use their (mostly Ruby ) moons...
This robs ZE of revenue. I know for a fact that many players will just send the inactive account 50 rubies to make sure that the account is not deleted.. however long term this is poor for the game and ZE income...
I will not go over old ground about the disproportional MD ratio's or the fact that MD restrictions are unfair..(lets be honest and say it is far easier to obtain moons than to lose them).
It is a shame that new players are unable to do MD missions based on this ratio.. the old MD structure and original options where far better..
To address my point I would like to suggest that either inactive accounts, say after a period of 12 months should have their moons removed or the account is placed by ZE into V mode.. thus maintaining the option for the original player to return. Thus making active players use their own moons or to purchase their own ruby moon...
I do not expect many players will agree with this post because they will wish to use the free moons out there instead of purchasing their own and supporting the game.. But as a guess if ZE checked there are more inactive moons than there are active players... some what unbalanced .
Re: Increase revenue for game..
#2Agreed, isn't sending an inactive farm rubies a form of cheating? I know it happens, an automatic leg up to those who can purchase rubies by effectively buying permanent farms? Unfair to say the least, especially to those who cannot..
Re: Increase revenue for game..
#3sending inactives rubies makes them farms for everyone, i wouldn't count this to be buying permanent farms...
also i recall during the previous inactive deletion discussions/arguments zorg mentioned that it was their intention to v-mode inactives with rubies eventually, although given the speed of the development cycles... who knows when this will come into play assuming that this is on the agenda and i didn't dream it up.

Re: Increase revenue for game..
#4to me Inactives are a part of the Game. what should happen is if the account is in VM and inactive for say 60 to 90 days then the Account comes out of VM and right into Ii if there is rubys on the account then 1 ruby is used every week until gone. that way everyone can have a bite to eat out of the Account and if you gift rubys to an account they will be used until you give them more or the account gets deleted.
Removing just the Moons is a no win for the players who are being Hunted.

Re: Increase revenue for game..
#5+1 for taking rubies from inactive's till they are out and then deleted
Re: Increase revenue for game..
#6I honestly do not understand what kind of hypocritic argument goes on in this thread.
I checked in after a few weeks and i see you guys going for different threads where one thread is contradictory to the other.
In one thread every one talks about how concern they are about starter player and in another thread they pole on ideas to ban the ONLY source of fast growing means for starter players. INACTIVE FIRMING.
I absolutely agree with mightyoz for what he said about having inactives around an account does not make them permanent firms. All inactive firms are open for firming to all.
This rule about 50 rubies to keep accounts active is one rule that the players agreed and paid to exploit. It is not like those rubies bought free. Some one actually paid for them and used them for his benefit. Thats a form of revenue.
"say after a period of 12 months should have their moons removed" this makes no sense. also putting 50 ruby accounts into vmode makes no sense either.
The proper logics behind those were addressed in length that 50 ruby accounts will go inactive after a certain period of time out of vmode. and they will remain as firms. until the player comes back.
I can agree with account deletion of inactive players after another 12 months period. If Zorg puts a new amendment to the rules. Which he can do. This also gives a safe passage for all players who are interested to come back to game to rethink and has a choice. that amendment has to be broadcasted as well.
anyways got the rips go ahead and pop all the moons in the games. That was the strategy before and this should remain the strategy still. It may not be working for veteran old players but this game mechanics works for players who entered the game not more than 1 year long.
For their sake take the trouble.
