Halo

Hey guys and ladies. I just wanted to create this subject to give anyone on Zorg Empire who likes the Halo series as much as I do a haven to chat about the games and other topics of the Halo Universe. Please, this is an open-talk subject; think of it as a mini-forum. Discuss anything about Halo you want. Enjoy!

Loved 1 and 2. 3 was repetitive but had an amazing story line. ODST and Wars were disappointing. But Reach made up for everything.

4 will be just as amazing. We have had access to some of the Beta at work. Expect a lot.

I would like to point out Halo 3 had a great MM and campaign forge needed work though also Halo:Reach was trash for multiple reasons any real Halo fan could see,the campaign was extremely repetitive it was a once or twice play thing as for MM the community is nothing but arrogant self-centered bronies and clans. that is all :P

Truth be told, I did not expect this many posts in such a short time, but it's great to see how quickly fans of the series will voice their opinions. As for myself, I have played all of the major games (Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, and Reach). I do hope to get my hands on a copy of Halo Wars soon, although I have no idea when that will be.

That being said, I can see the light to some of your posts. I'm fifteen years old, so I grew up not on Halo: Combat Evolved or Halo 2, but Halo 3. I can remember when I was in sixth grade, discovering Halo 3 for the first time. I remember the epicness of the story, the sheer joy of multiplayer; I feel that some of these things have been lost in Reach( although I applaud Bungie for the instillation of Forge World).

However, now that I have actually played all of the Halo games, I always find it hard to pick a favorite. I think that they all have amazing stories that play on a grand scale which, in my mind, rivals Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series.

And although Bungie handed over control of the Halo franchise to up-and-coming game studio 343Industries, I believe that 343i will not let us down in Halo 4.

Also, I love the stories outside of the games, especially in the form of Halo books or even movies(Halo Legends, anyone?). It would be great to see what people think of these as well.

I enjoy communicating with members of the Halo community through any means possible, and it has been rewarding so far. Please, continue to post and discuss; keep the topic alive!

I like combat evolved because it gave you the choice to have the originial look of the first halo or the new age look of the new halos halo reach story line was a dissappointment for me multiplayer was great off and online looking forward to halo 4 i expect a better story line but also great multiplayer off and online also hoping firefight will be left standing as it is but with better weapons and better maps

I disagree. The Reach's multiplayer was my favorite and also the favorite of most of my customers. The patches that came after the game went live fixed most of the issues. The biggest one was armor lock - fixed in January (no one uses it anymore). Who even likes Griffball?...Lol. Swat is always the way to go. Hardcore, no radar, no shields. One shot, one kill.

The updated patches make the multiplayer smooth and clean. One thing Bungie sadly picked up on were the use of undetectable bots usually put through from a player's flash drive. Sadly...Reach had the most of these from any Halo game which often made matches screwy. But when you get a good group of people playing Reach in a lobby, it's hours of fun. The game is still selling well and putting up numbers.

343 will take the series to great places. Their direction with the story will make it much more deep, meaningful, and intense.
