The facebook liking would generate more profit, because it would bring in more players. This is a great game, but the word isnt out there. I'm being perfectly honest when I say this is the best browser game I've ever played. The way I see it, the zorg empire system is missing 2 things in order to be selling more rubies.

1. Exposure= If you do a google search on zorg empire, only like 25 hits pop up, lets face it guys, we arent that popular, the facebook liking Idea is one many sistes implement, and can really help get our name out there, and get more players.

2. % of active players= Many players, and I mean many, will start the game and quit within 3 days. Now, this will always be true, but we can raise the % of active players by offering better tutorials (already suggested and accepted) and better incentives for new players (like ways to obtain free rubies). I personally am more likely to play a game if there is a way to obtain the premium currency (zorg rubies) for free, because I dont have extra $ to toss around. Many other people are the same.

I stand by my suggestion. I think it would be a very good thing for the website, and would increase money coming in.

Personally I wouldnt mind a small,non-invasive, SFW advertisement on the sidebar of pages either. That would allow all players to recieve an allowance of rubies (probably never happening).

So what do you guys think? I think we should get more admins' opinion and Zorgs, I want to see this implemented

You make an excellent point. We do need to do more advertising. That isn't up to me, but I will urge it along.

I am, however, in charge of the Facebook page. Since we're really trying to push it for activity, perhaps you're onto something in terms of a small reward. The only thing is, we could give them rubies for liking it (a one time deal) or give them rubies per post (way too much spam, not enough input). Where could we give rubies, how much, and when?

I was thinking that you should give three to five rubies everytime somebody shares the page. HOWEVER in order to stop people from annoying innocent facebook-goers, and getting rubies too easily, we would limit it to every 2 weeks or so. I have given this some thought, as you can see. By the way, I liked the ZE facebook page earlier today, I didnt know we had one.

I just had some weird thoughts about giving Rubies for like in facebook and so on - what if you play few servers... Should be doable for all of them (all of them to receive rubies)... But in other thoughts - it should be doable for only one of them (some players to receive (let's say) 10 rubies for single Like, others to receive 40...

My main point was that some players will receive more rubies for same action as others who will take close to nothing...

Person, playing in all 4 servers will receive 4 times the rubies than someone playing in only 1 server (yes, he will take the same amount per server, but will take more at all)
