Thinman (WAR) vs Kiur--ALLIANCE rule enforcement

This is a sad story really. :( Kiur was in WAR. It was brought to my attention that he had def bashed several smaller players (just barely above the 10k mark) :naughty: and as a result he was kicked from the alliance. Later the same day... I get a tip that he had left his fleet down :naughty: (another rule he would be in violation of if he were still a member). I guess he felt safe given his planetary def. (Dude, you're not Perses) I jumped to the appropriate galaxy and sent the recs... after a long wait (20+ min) i scanned him again to be sure the fleet was still there; it was. I launched my seldom used lg's. the result was this...

The attacker has won the battle !
You receive 14.445.983 units of Metal, 966.473 units of Crystal and 442.538 units of Deuterium.
The attacker has lost a total of 38.880.000 units.
The defender has lost a total of 544.150.000 units.
A debris field containing 53.406.000 units of Metal and 57.954.000 units of Crystal has formed in orbit around the planet.

All DF collected

Damn the sim! The bigger the hit the less accurate it is... oh well, not much loss.

glotr Kiur: Fleetsave! :wall:

You guys are dooming ur own alliance with all these stupid rules. You have no right telling a member who they can and can't attack. The fleet being crashed because its down I don't necessarily disagree with, however telling a member who they can attack is just dumb. Of course this is just my opinion on the matter.

Its healthy for the universe with good fleeters like you and chuck forming alliances, and I'm glad for the competition honestly, but just ease up with the rules guys. Just advice, not telling u what to do mate.

Being a traitor is a different and there is no worse a crime, but u better make sure u have solid proof of it before u act.

yes i agree some of theses rules seem over board we have them in place to keep a strong groupe of players together nd the way we see it is if you can not follow the basic rules then you are not strong enough to b with us like common we are up against chosen this is not an easy thing to be against a good strong alliance like chosen so we need to be rock solid.. i do however appreciate the advice i will take advice from any good player

Forcing a player to avoid d-bashing players for no profit sounds like a pretty good rule to me ;)

to each his own I guess. I just think more rules equals less freedom, and the one true way an alliance can grow and prosper, is by being free to do as it pleases(within reason that is).
