yes it is indeed true that a few days isn't much.
I also agree that it is not the "being in a hurry to raid the newly inactive accounts" in a "the sooner the better"- attitude.

You/we do however have to learn to keep the ships off the ground, clean our resource production regularly in order to not be a target.
I'm not concerned about the period for when the inactivity marker is posted next to an account...(h3ll make it two weeks for all i care)
I thinking more about new players having to learn, not to forget their account when going offline. Learn to check for return times when you log off...I mean, you can send ships for FS on a trip that lasts days, if you like! Just be there , when they return!
(we all know the stories and seen the reports of someone forgetting or not making it in time, especially the veterans ;-)
going from 3 days to a week just extends the period of ships on the ground, it doesn't teach the newbee to take care or loose stuff...
granted, they're still open for business to the other players in their points-range
