Account Hopping

Given various controversies that have lately popped up in various servers, and how they seem to be leading towards a player based policing of missions that I fear may have that undesirable end of allowing raiders entirely too much information on others to base their hunt upon, I'd like to suggest the following:

In many cases where various controversies have arisen, it has to some extent arisen because someone somewhere gave up his account to someone else.

I believe this practice should be banned.

The original account creator should maintain his creation himself. If he shares his password, then that account should be deleted. Some of us have actually worked for our mines, our research and our fleets.

All should.

Forgive me the double post - but, seriously, no comment?

No comment from ANYONE?

This seems one of the most sacred cows of the game!

What better way to get a leg up on your competition than to have put no true work in whatsoever?!?!

What better way than to get delicious rewards, essentially scot free?

+1 totally agree, youre not going to get any support from anyone who has gotten an account from someone else.

I've been on both sides of the fence here...I have my own account in Speed and Massacre (been VM'd for along time there though) and I inherited an account in X. Lost the fleet and am putting just as much work into that account now as I did on my old X account. I personally feel that if someone wants to give their account to someone else, they are within their right to do so. As long as the rules are followed and resources / fleet don't pass between the new and old accounts when the transition occurs and the old account is left in VM or given to someone else.
