well all servers are good in some point but to test real skills a propose this sugestions:

-Planets allowed: - only home planet
-ACS Attack + ACS Defend
-Protection rules till 10k and x5 till then.
-1 ranking point = 5000 Resources
-Homeworld size: 5000 Fields
-Storages: 2x SPEED
-The DF and resources in various stats are being calculated in metal value at a trade ratio 6:4:2

-Removed Plus options for Armor/Shield/Weapons (Won't be activated at a later day)
-No Imperial Support at start (Very limited once/if implemented)
-No Plus Moons at start

Ship Differences:

-Colony ships cost: tech disabled and you cant build colony

well a think this server could be very hard to play but easy to grow because you have only planet to develop.

Well without those ZE Plus options, there really isn't too much incentive for ruby users to play this new server, and without heavy ruby users, the server probably wouldn't be able to stay up for long. Also, i think using crystal, if any single resource, would be better for value calculations since it is pretty much midway between metal and deuterium.

Also, having only one planet would make fleet saving exceedingly difficult, which would probably reduce player interest even further.

I can see if you have your home planet and maybe 2 colonies. That would make it even better in my opinion.

I like the idea of a new server, (hyperspeed server?) but I think more planet slots. 6 maybe? 1 home, 4 colonies, and one ruby? Fields need to be lowered too. Noone can fill 5000 fields. Maybe 1000 max rather than like 400 or whatever in speed (not sure what it is), but bump and +1 for the idea.

lol yep-> maybe 2-3 colonies and space needs to be smaller maybe 9 galaxies with like only 100 in each?
would need a TON of ppl to fill though
like the idea of a SUPER big home planet but 500-600 should be good enough
maybe 700 if you feel like it also storage should be 2x Xtreme if the server is that fast so 2.200.000 for level 0 >:)
also i like the idea but not sure how it would go with everyone else cause everyones taste is different (speed is fast=awesome xP)

I'd have to say you'll need at least two planets. You could get set next to some random shark that is like a million times your size. That's not very fair to handicap someone with no way to get away from them.

I really do like the idea of bigger planets though.

Silverfox has a good point, I think maybe 700 fields and 5 F2P planets (one ruby one.) There needs to be fewer solar systems, like 80. Also, it needs to be called the hyperspeed server, because I totally came up with that.
