Over Powered RIPs

Well I believe RIPs (Death Stars) are to strong. I want them to be just for popping moons, this will add for a diverse fleet. ;) It will also make MDs (Moon Destruction's) WAY more fun and harder.

From my limited experience, I have to agree. It's their size and hence there ability to win no loss victories that does it for them. I'm not sure what the answer is. There are certainly many options, but it should be noted that size is an advantage in and of itself in this game. I don't recomment anything extreme though. Their very slow pace is a factor against them.

Possible fixes -

Take away rapid fire against fighters
Reduce metal to build and bump up crystals on a two for one basis.
Basically pair down any offensive rating a little bit.

I like the concept, they are just a little to much.

We should make another ship.....it will be just like the rip but faster...but for this to be taken into effect....you first need to tuned down the offense or it would be a super pain in the butt to fleet.

Lunars also need some tweaking but I decided to stay on RIPs first. Besides it take about the same amount of resources if not more (Counting FS) To posses enough Lunar guardians to destroy a RIP.

Exactly RIPs are dominate then...They cost more, more duet upkeep, and Gets cracked easily...you might as well just get more RIPs than the other guy. Im just stating that having this dominating ship takes out the strategy in a "STRATEGY" MMO RPG game.

damn does it ever end with you noobs whining about the rip being too powerful? rather than starting this new topic, why not just pile onto the numerous other ones saying the same thing? learn your best option vs the rip and maybe your battles will turn out more favorably for you.....

....Again with your trolling self, I'm trying to make it more of a diverse game than muscle but if scary cowards like you like the game engine, just state a no. Sad enough that most are scared of change and dont realise that this could benifit the game...I mean HELL you got a beta least try it out.

yeah cyllarus, very popular debate you have here with so many ideas being exchanged. like i said you arent the first newbie to have this idea. it isnt a new idea, and as before, it wont go anywhere, so maybe a change in your strategy would be more productive?
