I disagree.

Just open up a new chat room '/join (room name)' and then '/invite (players you want to talk to)' and then close down main chat if you dont want to speak to them or hear them.

How is that for an easy solution.!!

Ignore still is a personal choice. I like it cause for a player I would not want to rapture my chat experience. Why should one have to leave the chat. If someone is battering it is always suggested to take it to pm in main chat but hardly anyone keeps to the practice. Ignore does sound like a relief for many. Also many times it doesnt even have to be between two parties. Sometimes the problems between two chat participant spoils chat experience for others too.

Ignore sounds like a good idea, if implemented can be used alot.

may be you dont need it fish... but there are other ppl in chat who clearly feels the need of it.

and saying no with an exclamation mark really doesnt make that more strong. you need to think about why others thinking not just what you want.

its a feature that can improve the chat. If you do not want it do not use it. If you dont need it having it wont make any difference for you. All i am saying is it will make life on chat for many a better experience.

I agree with the concept of a "ignore button". ;)

This would give the player more control of who they want to talk to without being overwhelmed with messages they do not want to see. And as SPY put it, it would be a feature that you can choose to use or not use.
