Moon Upgrade

Ok so now you can buy moons of a gurantee 9.5 + i feel all of us who have original moons of lower sizes are at a bit of a disadvantage.

What i would like to propose is a moon upgrade via Zorg Rubies.

So what ever size moon we have.

Maybe the following.

for 8k plus moon - 50 zorg rubies
for 9k plus moon - 100 Zorg Rubies
for 9.5k plus moon - 150 Zorg rubies.

I feel we should be able to upgrade already standing moons.

Adding to this you dont lose whats already built on the moon

EDIT* to prevent upgrades when people are moon destroying then maybe you could either have it as a fun ninja for players to be able to do, or you have it so that you cant upgrade while there is activity on the planet, which includes incoming attacks.

Sound's legit but it would require you to have an 5k plus moon already. (Your saving rubies....)

Interesting concept. But I can see some exploitation with the upgrading of moons. Especially when somebody has a MD mission going to that moon and the player pays for an upgrade and "Whammo" the MD fails. There would need to be some safeguards to prevent something like this.

what would be the point?
if you are a smart player you wont build up a small moon anyways, you will pop it and create a bigger one to start with :)

I added that to the main post that if there was activity on the moon including MD travel you cant upgrade on it.

Going to ignore Harrys pointless message.

Ahh, but just saying Fish, this sort of falls under the "Lazy Man's way to get something done faster" category . I.E. Getting a bigger moon. The difference is, this idea actually finances Zorg. Harry's post was really just to help out the people who don't buy rubies and have no way of upgrading the moon. Just a little constructive criticism for them.

That being said, I sort of like this idea, with the safety lock where it can't be done if there's activity on or heading toward the moon. I would suggest a better way would be to have to do it when there's nothing on a moon, but that would just put harry's statement back into play. Whatever it is, it only affects my targets and my fleeter friends, so I guess yes to it.

I dont like the idea. moon creation is a game feature. and the only reason why the RUBY moon feature was added cause the need for big moons. other than that get your moons the hard way.

a lil interaction and planning for a moon with a fellow player is not bad.

I agree and for what harry said if you're launching an moon destroy and this was around I'm sure they would have common sense to check the moon size before it hit. That or they don't need to have those RIP's anyhow.
