Fleet 'Return' destinations

It would be Really handy to be able to launch fleets from one planet to attack and return to different final destiantion (not planet of origin). The number of fleet deployments that could be saved: It's a real drag from early in the game.
Any chance of that? Not too hard on the code writting?

I believe waypoints have already been suggested. I like the idea.

yeah i posted one before. it would be fun if we can mask out a fleet path with intermediate coordinates. games will be alot more strategic.

ive thought of this idea in the past too, but worry it would be even harder for the noobs to understand. im all for it tho, like you say it notches up the strategy level involved.

Is it a GUI ease of use issue, if you're worried noobs will struggle.
The concept doesn't take the brains of an archbishop to appreciate though.

I support the idea. I've had similar thoughts in the past but was hindered by trying to figure out how deut costs would be calculated. Would be a nice strategic challenge though.
