Nice Improvement, however, The leader of the alliance needs to be able to Input Himself/herself as the same rank as his/her generals, so that the leader can be in better communication with only alliance leaders through the new circ function. Currently circ function for sending to ranks works for the Alliance, but the leader gets left out of the loop if used to communuicate with the generals/leaders. The leader can send circ to these ranks, but cannot recieve the circs from others Using the rank circ function due to the leaders rank is inputed differently into the game ranks of alliances than the rest of the members. Can we get this fixed please?

Im not sure how often others use this function, for better alliance Organization, I hope this gets fixed, may be easier that leader recieves any rank circs sent from any member?? Prob best fix so leader keep tabs on every rank and able to communicate with all rank functions

^^ that always has been a bit tricky one in circ. i think nothing has been addressed on that issue before cause most probably know one had used it or this particular filter option.... popularity is one thing and having an option thats glitchy is another. lets have that fixed. good look out infectious.

I think I like Spankie's solution for this if it is possible. Although it's a little bit "Big Brother"-esque it seems to be the simplest solution for this issue.

Great catch Infectious, I had tried using it within my alliance but that issue forced us to go the route of either a private chatroom off-site or copy and pasting PMs between the three of us.

Any news on a fix?

Where is the bug in this ? Seems like a suggestion to me.

If the rank circular messages work then I suppose this is a suggestion on improving it then

Also to build upon the idea, I would like to see an extra right added to the configure rights management,
this right would be to recieve all circular messages and can be just another checkbox added into the table.

Therefore the alliance leader recieves all the the circs whilst any member with the all circ right will also receive all the circs.

This way you can have better alliance managment as all the leaders can communicate through the ranks circ.

I agree - leader should receive all circs.

I have two other suggestions as well:

1. Rank circs should come with a note saying either which rank or which players in particular received the circ

2. As it is right now, if you send a rank circ there is no record of what you have sent - neither in 'Sentbox' nor in 'Circular Messages', so I think a new category should be added to the 'My Messages' page for rank circs.

Great Ideas all. I have not been in forum lurking forever, but good to see others can see the potential and and the major flaw in this. Even tho I dont use it now since Im not leader anymore of any alliance, it is a good fix for alliances using real rank titles for what they are, a military order, effective for planning with alliance leaders, directing other divisions within ranks etc So the Leader can keep tabs on it all circs of each division or whatever you would call it and how you would use it. Thanks for the support on this. I would hope ZE would look into improving all current implemetations beforeing moving forward with new ideas, Quite a few loose ends being put on the back burners
