Expanded Internal Alliance Page

The ingame internal alliance area is very small and therefore doesn't allow you to do much with it. I know there are free forum sites available but I think it would be better to have a good ingame alliance area, as players don't seem to like the offsite forums - in my experience from several alliances they are always dead. I used to play another game (not the other space game that everybody alludes to, but a medieval type game) that had a very good alliance area where you could create tabs and sub-tabs, and there was even a hidden tab that only the leadership could see. Now, this other game had much bigger alliances on average, and it was more ruthless and less forgiving than Zorg in that conquest was part of the game and players could actually be knocked out of the game by conquest so it required more intensive organization to survive, but I do think a bigger internal alliance area would still be useful in Zorg.

I don't see the need for it. The internal page is generally used to tell your alliance members basic rules, who to contact (ie: the ranking order from leader down etc). Also links to the main forums for help guides. I am not sure if needing more space is really necessary. But this is only my opinion. :)

This is true, but from when I played in the past, some alliances really used the internal space a lot and i think that some people still do so i think this is a good idea, but thats just me.

It is true that it is generally only used for these things, but this is a circular argument, because the reason it is generally only used for these things is because it is too small to use it for anything else.

As I plainly said, MY OPINION ONLY. Don't try to sell it to me, try to sell it to admin. I don't see a need for it but as I will say again, that is MY OPINION. If you go around trying to disagree with everyone that doesn't like the idea you may be here for a long time ;)

I have to agree with the poster on this one. Communication is key when playing an on-line game such as Zorg Empire. Having an interactive alliance page would be ideal to keep the Alliances "alive".


Pros:
All communications are contained with Zorg Empire
No outside forum needed - as the Alliance page would be central for all communications.
No outside chat needed - an internal chat would be perfect within the alliance page.
More robust - players would be more inclined to communicate if the tools were provided within the game.

Cons:
Development time and effort on Zorg Empire admins - the code to implement such a major change would be time consuming and costly.

Yes, for the full tabs option. But perhaps they could offer a short term solution by simply increasing the character limit, which would be of some help, and add the tabs later.
