I would like to see the ability to create waypoints for fleets of ships that would give the ability to do more with fewer clicks.
For example, it would be possible for a fleet, at the expense of one computer slot per waypoint, to raid several planets in a row or acs defend multiple targets one after another, or even make a delivery or trading route, delivering a set amount of goods to each planet.
The benefits would be offset by the amount of time the fleet would be out. This maintains game balance while making it more efficient to play.
Re: What about waypoints
#2I believe this has already been suggested and disapproved.
Although, I like the idea, but I doubt it will get any support.

Re: What about waypoints
#3It has been discussed and shot down before in different forms. But this is the first time someone has mentioned each one being a waypoint and each waypoint taking a fleet slot.. so technically you could have one fleet out using 10 slots, one for each waypoint.
I like this, a lot.

Re: What about waypoints
#4the dynamism of this suggestion is scary complex. one huge down point is the possibility of number of permutation of way points is so huge that to trace an attack on it is virtually impossible for an attacker.
if i fs in an way point which is totally legal cause i can send all ships and res on a raid i am not sure if any one can trace that successfully.

Re: What about waypoints
#5I think one of the problems with this is that it would allow a player to do a fair amount without actually having to be online - it would almost be an ingame bot program.
