Cant find this previously listed , but don't think i've mastered the forumns very well yet.

1) allow BBcode in the alliance text areas.
2) have a private forum area for alliance members (with topics etc...)
3) have a notepad facility for the alliance similar to the players one

BB code is the system the forums work on, josh. I like the ideas you have lowfatspread.

BBCode is what gives you all the tags on your post editor that let you do fancy stuff with the text.

I sure wouldn't mind having that for alliances. As for private forums, most people go to a free forum site and create their own; they can then link to it on their alliance page. However, keeping the forums within ZE wouldn't be all bad, either.

As for the notepad, just use the internal text area. Only alliance members can see it and it's right up front for a quick glance to see if there's anything new.

BBCode is a good suggestion. However, a forum and notepad facility is completely useless. I think there is no need for the Zorg scriptwriters to spend sleepless nights when you can just type Forum Hosting in Google and create your own free forum in a few seconds.
