[Evaluation Needed] ACS DEFEND TIMES

I would like to see the acs defend times have smaller increments, such as a 5 min defend time or less. In this way, we can defend someone and time it so the attack is thwarted and our fleet gets the heck out of dodge b4 the higher lvl players learn of the fleet sitting there defending the planet. :lol:

I agree with Overlord. Five minute increments would be ideal. One hour minimum cuts down on strategy. The more room for strategy, the better.

Id like the shorter increments, but having 5 mins is a bit too short, it leaves no penalty for ACS defending, which the 1 hour minimum is designed to provide.
Id like to see increments of 20/30 minutes though, enough to provide a risk but nowhere near the level of suicide one faces with the hour log.

i could work with 10 sec increments. i think the point is that you should not be able to recall it fast. that is why you only get one chance to acs defend properly or you have to wait for the fleet to come back from the destination. practice your timing kids

Actually that bug needs fixed, it doesnt help the game at all.

What we're talking about is the amount of time your fleet is left online.
30 minutes endorses teamwork, it would be possible for you to report the new fleet to an online ally who might be able to finish off the defenders, rather than the hour which gives you plenty of time to catch them with little to no skill.

first off, the ACS defend times are not a bug, they actually work correctly, however pulling prior to the ACS defend is a bug. While I agree that there could be adjustments to acs defend time, 10 sec is way too small of a unit, with rewards should come some risk. I think the time frame should allow for a counter attack time, especially since there is still no ACS Attack. With ACS Attack, it would be logical to reduce the defend time down to a miniscule amount.

Thats funny, because if you actually read the thread, you would know what the was talking about and wouldn't have had to even "noted" about the bug.
