A. Fleetsave(If this is the case should have timed and better, you can wait stop being lazy)

C. You didnt have the Deuterium or carrying capacity to launch at full speed (Well you cant launch at full speed if you don't have the gas anyways)
I see this as just another waste of a developers time writing code for an option we don't really need. NO

if you have written this with bits i would agree with every zeroes and ones in that.. 100% agree with you here.
i think here is a different suggestion that i have made last year or the year before which got a few appreciation but never really gotten far with with cause of there developments.
SUGGESTION: Deploy mission via a 1 moon at different speed
the idea is you send deploy mission to a coordinate having a moon/planet coordinate inbetween and the speed can vary for both ends.
this is particularly interesting cause this way u get a varied fleet option, yet vulnerable by moon desto missions.
it has utility and tactics and quiet a few varied options.
