ok i thought you meant before. I would lose about 1 in 10 average. So:

With my system you could launch 10 EC's (2 waves of 5 slots with 1 EC each)

on average:

You lose 1 EC costing you:
1.5 Million Metal
1.5 Million Crystal
650 Thousand Deuterium

You get 3 succesful mission meaning you gain:
3m Metal
1.5m Crystal
1m Deut (Based on the 20% x3)

Ofcourse to get that, you would need a lot of luck. Sending for 2 Hours would compensate for losses but you can only carry out half the missions.

Overall you don't gain much, because to lose 1/10 and gain 3/10 would be extremely lucky - but at least there is an incentive and overall profit to be made. No one could exploit it because the profits are to low - but equally no-one could complain because you simply can't rely on it. It's all luck

gorgrak wrote:A full revert would possibly get us into a predicament like we have now where people who want the full change will get pissy and quit because then they will fee like they don't have a say. Scag is right about the resources though. If someone could start a poll about the resource levels suggested, and if it should go back the way it was, or keep them. Something like that. We could really use some feedback from the forums on that one, since I know a lot of people don't want to post anything directly so they don't have to deal with getting flamed.
I meant to create a poll something like this but didn't get the chance. I'll go ahead and make a new one.

The ECs are definately not worth sending out anymore. So don't even bother using them except for taking them with your invasion fleet. Expeditions are just too costly.

Before the tweek I had 24 ECs. I can send out 5 expeditions at a time. I lost two full groups back to back after the tweek, and after that I was losing 3-4 out of the 5.

Before the tweek I would lose 1-2 like every 2-4 times I sent out a group. But thing was if I did lose one at least I could rebuild it.

If the game people don't want people to use expeditions, just get rid of it and increase the amount of output on the factories, or decrease the price of the units themselves.

Will check in time to time to see if a game designer actually does anything.
