Once the system is chosen, you'd go to a page that shows 15 planets

I would be glad if you were to make this because you are well gale...However zorg may want to hire an outside consultant or do it himself because it is thier game and could make it want to look a number of ways.
I would also be glad to see this implemented if it really would seperate the files,I likely would but we do not know the current file set up for uni layout weather it be 1 file per system and you are flipping between smaller files in one large galaxy file or a multitude of data on 9 galaxy files, having said that we cannot say this method would be safer but we can say if implemented in the fashion you want it could very well be safer.Lastly you seemed to overlook that with 2 display formats there would be more for the zorg servers to handle but once again it could be streamlined or might fit as is.We do not know on these factors because we are not the game devs I reccomend they discuss the viability of this idea and how it should be done.

Sounds very fair. And I wasn't planning on making it, lol, just proving a point  . But if this were to meet all of your above recommendations, would you agree on this idea?

In regards to the graphics, you have to be careful what you use as copyright issues can be enforced even on random space backdrops you think you pulled from a search engine. That's why new graphics can be expensive, the company needs to get an artist to create it from scratch.

A question on the general idea though, how do you envisage people being able to scroll easily from system to system? Is that included? A lot of people scroll through entire galaxies of systems when doing probe sweeps, so we need an easy system-to-next-system transition.

When people ask me plz because it's shorter than please, i feel inclined to respond no because it's shorter than yes...

You're right, I didn't think of that. There should be a button embeded in the menu on the side of the screen to scroll either "next" or "previous" systems. And the background could be made in a few days within photoshop. Should we poll on the player-base opinions (agree, disagree, neutral)? (us moderators and Zorg are trying to make clear where the public and devs stand, polls are a great way to display it easily).
