EXACTLY my point harry, nobody bothers because currently IPM is not widely used, except maybe on inactives.

well, as much as I enjoy arguing, I can't with that. Use that nugget of strategy to your advantage. I've employed them several times, and have had great success with them. One time I IPM'ed your buddy cypher out of like 20k defense points....lol I could tell he was pretty upset about it, because he did the same back to me the following night.

I been using them more testing them out and they are not worth spending 1 metal on.
IPMs are for scrubs who cant build a fleet and want to get revenge on someone that crashed them.
But the only way they are usefull is if you catch the IPM launch victim offline and then launch a couple thousand.
It would seriously cost 4000 IPMs to level someones defense.
Cost of 4000 IPMs...... 50.000.000 metal 10.000.000 crystal 40.000.000 deuterium

And what would I get for launching 4000 IPMs?
Nothing no DF, No CR nothing, just a P/Oed launch victim.

They really do no damage at all, they suck and I will never use them again they might as well be removed from the game.

Totally agree with Scags post,as I explained to somebody recently I once had a player firing ten planets onto my one he was spending full days res launching after i took his rips.Took me half an hour to replace defenses as I don't have much of a shell on my planets.IPM's are a Complete waste of time and the numerous players who have launched them at me and ran would be better buying ships and trying to retaliate that way.One was a top ten player and they wonder why only a couple of the high ranks over the uni's get respect, when there is loads of players with similar point totals.

Ipm's ok to crack a shell to raid goodies if you have a player offline but anything else is pointless imo.The worst thing to do would be to give them more clout.
