New Suggestions

#1
I hate to say it but as we know this game has slowly been dying over the years and I hate that. I remember back in the day when the game first came around there were up to 200 active players at a time. Those were fun times. I have since been playing other O Game type games and have like a piece of each one I feel we could bring here to help keep players. Also more concurrent players = more fun= more people spending money on rubies. So hopefully these suggestions make it in the game to help with spicing the game up a bit with more players and hopefully some more money in the devs pocket to help keep the game we love going.

1. Task list- In one game ive played, it gives a task list of things to actively work towards. I know we also have one in a sense but this one is a clickable tab on the left with a notification marker that keeps you wanting to move on the list. Also it gives res rewards as you complete each task. It doesnt have to be a **** ton but like 1m of every res for a reward would definitely keep people interested and wanting to achieve the next level. 1m res is a lot at the beginning but late game is of no real consequence so it would be a great addition for benchmark tasks to be performed to keep engagement up.

2. Player Protection- This one might not be as popular with the higher up players But I believe increasing the Noob Protection from 200k overall points to 1 or 2 mil total points would also keep engagement up. 1m total points is super easy to hit but gives people a little more room and time to learn the game. I understand not wanting to appeal to whiners but just that little extra time will help new players that choose to go it alone more time to learn the Ins and outs. Some servers have a 5-7x protection bracket throughout the entire game but that would be unfair for the much higher players that have put the time into the game so I feel my suggestion would be the preferable option.

3. Required Learning- Most people immediately quit because their fleet gets wiped the moment they pass 200k total points because they dont know any better or how to properly fleetsave. I feel there should be a prompt that comes up once you build your first ship that is like 2 slides that teaches you how to fleet save correctly to and from moons. That way people know early on and cant complain later on that they didnt know what to do. This game is not for the faint hearted but one more prompt window with an "are you sure you understand" box to click would make a difference for concurrency i feel.

4. Voting Sites- Im not sure how to go about this one since I dont know if regular people can post zorg on the voting sites for O game type games. If we can Ill do that but if not then The admin doing it and including a link tree on the left side of the screen to go upvote the game daily might go a looong way to increasing our player count. Maybe give 1 ruby if you upvote on all the sites to entice people to do it. Ill do it for free just to increase possible player count but still a thought.

5. Re introducing a Tourney server that runs for like 2 months would be fun as well.

These are all just Ideas ive had to help get this game back to its former glory of active participation.

The game never dies, only universes die.
#4 and #5 seem good but the rest are dog water - Lots of players would show up for a new universe and it would keep things fresh and fun to start from ground zero again.
I will not play Zorg Empire if it has tutorials or additional rewards, if the game has to persuade a player to click the button with an additional reward, they aren't worth the stay anyway. My favorite thing about Zorg Empire is it doesn't tell me how to play it, it's a sandbox similar to it's true origin.
Zorg Empire has never been noob friendly "home for the best, too intense for the rest." is the motto that shows on every log in screen- It's not a toy that you had over to a toddler on smart phone screen, it's a finely crafted engine with the freedom to be navigated, explored and played how ever suits your play-style. It's brilliant just the way it is.
