I would like to suggest making the Arrow Keys on the keyboard used to navigate through the Galaxy View.

The Up and Down arrow would move you up and down the Galaxies (1-9), and
the Left and Right keys would move you through the systems (1-499).

For those of us that scan galaxies and use a laptop with a frustratingly poor touchpad, it makes perfect sense. I am amazed that decent suggestions get shot down so quickly and absolutely retarded, game changing, unbalanced suggestions are touted as great things. But then again, considering the source of the dissent, I shouldn't be surprised.

Gonna have to agree with Torgard and Shaft; laptops are annoying like that.

I am gonna say yes to this, would make it much easier, however it is a minor change that might be difficult to implement, so it could take a while

This would be excellent to have, seing as my laptop never wants to work with the arrow on the screen. I use my keyboard for 90% of the stuff I do. I have found that hitting the tab button several times can get you almost anywhere. But yes, this would be usefull.
