A new feature has been implemented in both universes: Email Notifications

System from now on will create an email notification for the following actions:
-New Private Message received
-New Circular Message received (Max 1 email per 6 hours)
-New Attack (Only simple attacks) received (Max 1 email per 1 hour)

*The system has the intelligence not to email users currently online.
*Every user can activate/deactive these settings in their options page.

The following few days we will monitor the constrain that will be put on the machines from this feature. Due to high cpu needs, we may need to tweak these settings (like putting attack notification 1 per 2 or 4 hours).

For any tweak you will be updated.

The pm option and the circular options says it will send in per interval. will all the received messages as per respective type be consolidated to one single email within that interval?

For clarification, will it notify you when an attack lands or when it is launched at you?

PM and Circular message notification is instant! However if you receive 10 Circular messages within 6 hours time, you will be notified only for 1 of them (instantly still for the one you will get notification).

Battles Notifications are not instant, they may take up to 15 minutes before they deliver and still you will be notified for maximum 1 battle per hour. The attack hit counts, not the launch.

Examples:
-Joe send a pm to Ozil. Ozil gets an email instantly that he received a pm.
-Joe sends a circular message at 12:00. Ozil who is in the same alliance, instantly gets an email notification. Joe sends 2 more circular messages in the next 2 hours. Ozil will receive no notifications for them. In the same time, Joe will receive no notifications because he was online when the circular messages were sent.
-Joe crashes the fleet of Baba. It may take up to 15 minutes before a notification email for baba is sent.

There has already been a version revision. Battle Notifications were sent instantly at first version but we were forced to move them on 15minutes intervals. We are already working on a new version that will do the same for Circular messages.

many things,You posted here[new rule about posting Emails or pms?]It was in your inbox in the first place.[I find the whole thing unneccesary.]Lastly and the big one It gives your login details when I am sure if your are recieving mesages you can log in as well as not need your name told to you twice.

ahem!! triad.. did u read the message subject and the body it had?

that as well than.suppose that takes presedence over the other issues.

Id prefer esp reports over attacks... Something like, you have been esped on x:xxx:xx coords by Uberplayernoob at XX:XX:XX time but thats just me... Good idea overall though.
