After much gruesome tallying . we have come to a conclusion.
There were too many ties with only one vote to each position, making it a tie between to many players.

Bah...I demand a recount...hanging chads and whatnot.

Well, that certainly blows. Now what to do? Repoll? Recount? Seniority rules?

Can't just leave the interested public hanging like this.

Yea this was a complete letdown.....

Not my fault no one picks the same people, the results where to spread and no one was really voting for each other.

The mods should take the people who were voted for and just have a vote between yourselves to break the ties and put out some kind of result, at least a 1st place....second place.....third place or something.

The only way player awards work is if people are active on the forums. As it stands now, 9 people voted for Speed to get the awards and 10 people voted in them. I'm sure all 10 of you are in an alliance; there was a month to vote, could've sent a circ around or something.

Sure, it's a letdown, Awards are supposed to be fun. How about this: I turn this thread into a poll, and if 20 people say yes, we'll start them over; blank slate. However, if 20 people do say yes, I fully expect more that 20 to vote in the actual awards.

being new to speed i did not know anybody there. i will vote now when enough players say yes.

may i suggest that we simply player awards?

people are lazy, they don't want to copy, paste and write down names.

Instead of having 20 categories, we should just have 5 or 6, and under different topics, in the form of a poll. We will have about 20 players to choose from, and admin can add additional names if requested.
i.e. in 5 different topics:

who's best attacker Poll: Perses, Gumppy, Jordan, onecorvettenut....etc
who's best defender: Simona, Jimbo....etc
who's MVP: Cow, fat cow, big fat cow, cow fat big...etc
best alliance: XXX, YYY, FTW...etc
best battle: Z vs. pigs, a vs ducks....etc
