I'm no expert on this game, but i'm sure of one thing ...
Ok this time i think that it's worth mentioning that the closer the planet is to the sun, the bigger energy gain from satellites is, but i don't understand one thing: Why do the solar batteries in the 1st planet make the same amount of energy as the SOLAR BATTERIES in 15th planet? I think that possition in the solar system should make lots of influence to SOLAR BATTERIES.
Re: Solar Energy logic
#2well mate if you reduce the energy production even more then it will be bad, you have a point tho...

Re: Solar Energy logic
#3It is based on planet temperature, which is determined by chance when you colonize.

Re: Solar Energy logic
#4He's saying that it doesn't make sense that Solar Plant output is constant no matter what the temperature is.

Re: Solar Energy logic
#5In which he's absolutely right. However, this is a game and not reality, so put up with it and play hard

#6is it logical that the battle last for only fraction of seconds in game?

Re: Solar Energy logic
#7i think we can just through logic out of the argument here... anyone been on a Battlecruiser or a DeathStar latly?

Re: Solar Energy logic
#8All i'm trying to say that it should be at least something like Energy= Solar Batteries production + (some kind formula, which increses the gain of energy by taking the temperature as a factor.)
I'm not saying that everything has to be based on real world laws, but i'm saying that in this game solar batteries work at the same way as the stellites. So if they work the same way, shouldn't they have something in common (like special abilitie, which allows to get more energy in warmer planet)?
This is the same thing as the the further the planet is (the colder the planet is) the more deuterium you get.
The only difference is that deuterium production proportion to the temperature is realized.

Re: Solar Energy logic
#9at this point in the game will generate a large amount of complaints
