Galaxy's Most Wanted?

#1
Over the past two days I have been scanned by every one of the top 10 alliances along with a few others and today I was attacked by both Mintaka and the vaunted VENGEANCE's own SirDuction. Templar from RAWK came close, but pulled back at the last moment. I can't say if all the recent talk of NINJA attacks got him spooked or just the complete lack of resources on my planet.

Does that make me the most wanted man in the Galaxy? Probably not, but I thought it was funny anyway.

Mintaka wrote:Or maybe it's placing a colony and farming planets that others have already claimed that has garnered you that attention.
Placing a colony? If a planet slot is empty isn't it then free for anyone to colonise? And claiming farms as your own is pretty greedy and just plain wishful thinking.

I dunno, Ist, I have to kind of agree with Mintaka on this one. I mean, "claiming" may be an overly strong way of putting it, but when I have planets that I consistently profit from, and suddenly there's a new colony there and I think / know the owner is hitting them as well ...

Then the res I'm trying to take is on THAT planet instead of the colony I was hitting before, so I have to go THERE and get it.

And I logged in today to something like 46 separate espionage probes. So don't feel too bad.

I got the patience of a chopping block

I suppose, putting it that way i realise, it would be pretty annoying. Although you know it still wont last, two of the big farms i frequently visit have been removed due to the inactive purge. They were big too so i've been forced to look elsewhere, it's suprising how the removal of a few inactives hurts your daily profits. :)

Wow, after eluding many pursuers for awhile, Mintaka was able to finish one of my Cargo fleets. My first major hit, still only 170 cargo ships. Very impressive though. Scary.

My hats off to the top guy in the game.
