So long Zorg Empire. Been waiting to say that for the longest time.
Been playing Zorg Empire since Jan 14, 2010. And now it is time for me to go. I feel that I have accomplished what I started out to do a year and half ago - become a top fleeter in the Xtreme Universe.
My beginning was a humble one, where I joined up with the Necromonger Alliance out of protection from being farmed by the other players around me. Within weeks I was number one in that alliance. Also, I did not agree with the leadership telling me that we were not to attack active players as that would bring undue attacks against the alliance.
Saw an opportunity to move up when I joined the Angels of Death. Back then, I was still trying to find my play style and realized that I was a good miner. Did not need much fleet and was able to steadily increase my ranking with my buildings. I really enjoyed Ahsan's fruitless wars against Krieg and Azguard. Merc'd for him in a couple of wars. Too bad Ahsan no longer plays, he was a good friend. I also respected Adassa (AKA Selene, AKA Yuna), she was a good leader and a good diplomat. Keep the faith Yuna.
After realizing that there were some bad apples in AoD, I decided to move to the Black Rebellion. There I met Loko, Kick, Thorr, Matts, and a handful of other great players. There I started focusing on my Research and Fleeting skills. Was still a Miner, but evolved into a Hybrid player - trying to increase every aspect of the points.
I then joined the Inglorious Bastards and found a group of players that were extremely close. These guys are the best of the best and I am proud to call them brothers and sister. I will miss you guys. Specifically, I will miss Gumps (AKA Death), Myrsee, Gozar, Rjsturgill (AKA Destruction), GWD, Kuddz, GP41, Fishpond, and Rejectragdoll. You guys made my stay in Zorg Empire an enjoyable one. Rock on, and have fun.
Too all the players I hunted and crashed, keep your fleet in the air.
