Dear Admin and Community,

Due the efforts made by the Dev Team and his associates to improve ZE, I feel obliged to do something myself to help the game,

I am sure the top 50 active players in all universes had played or still playing other games with the same subject, so they may know a lot of good players which we could invite to join ZE,( using Face Book would be useful) meanwhile good players seems do not want start a new game from scratch, I have an example when many players from another platform tried to start playing ZE after personal invitation, all them gave up in less than a month, and believe me at the time they were top players in an other platform, so I suggest:

To each player the active top 50 invite to join ZE the Admin will give him from start up to 1 Mil points in resources and/or a certain number of rubies ( which can not be transferred to no one, just in case ), which can be used for instant build of Buildings, ships , the new comer will have 2 weeks to set all he wants to do with those resources and them be unprotected. We could as well make a pool to decide if we accept or not the new candidate.

Maybe someone will say it's not fair, well you can not invite a General to join an Army with the soldier level, and I believe new Alliances will be created and the new players we have already will learn a lot with the new leaders.

I hope we can persuade lot's and lot's of good players to join us, as that is a great platform but no action really.

I think this is a very good idea..there have been many players that joined and left as the Top players and general game is so well developed.. With new experienced players the game should improve no end..

You got my vote on this PK....

if can be implemented is going to be good to have some good players around and raise the game activity more.

just wanna ask one thing to how you thought of authenticating the rank of a new recruits claim?

I like the idea, but personally I don't think this alone will remedy the problem. There is simply just too many problems and discrepancies in ZE for players of that other game to stay here, considering what they are used to. Personally I have invited 4 of my friends from that other game in the past, who were all excellent fleeters in their own universes, each one left not because of points, because of the way the game works.

Let's have a look at the Pro's and Con's of veteran that other game players, coming here.

Pro's

• Cheaper premium options.
• ZE is mostly speed universe based, people from that other game flock to speed universes.
• Lot's more dev involvement with the community.
• Ranking and scoreboard structure makes hunting easier.

Con's

• Moon size is limited below what it should be.
• RIP's are insanely overpowered.
• Turtles are insanely overpowered.
• Battle engine shield regeneration works incorrectly.
• Rapid fire works incorrectly, and can be completely disregarded in 90% of cases.
• ACS attack has major faults (vs RIP's for example).
• People can build a fleet that are immune to people with fleets 10 times it's cost. Major imbalance.
• Problems are continuously patched instead of fixed at their root.
• UoH/HoF area is much more boring than in that other game, mostly community problems.
• Many other little things that don't work as they should (Plunder Algorithm, recalled Deploy's etc..).

Looking at all that, there is not much of an incentive for a player already successful over there to come here is there? Even if we do award them a faster start.

I totally agree with Istalris on this one. Especially about the RIP's being too strong and the fact RF and Battle simulator working very bad.
Making another type of ship (LG for example) wont fix the problem, especially if it has such crappy RF from other ship types.

I am in ZE longer than you, taking in consideration the time another player was using your account; Yes ZE is not perfect and none of the other games I tried for curiosity were better, I can say some were even worse, we all need to adapt and try to get the best in the style we decided to play. I agree that there is not a balance in the community concerning fleets, mines, techs and defenses but hard work can be rewarding, I suggest some resources / points for experienced players as I know what means rebuild from scratch, May , 2010 my fleet was crashed as you may know all I had after the crash was 2 Small Cargo and 135 K buildings, that did not stopped me to be now between the top fleeters, that can only prove that an experienced player can grow faster, I did rebuild just because i was back stabbed if was a fair crash maybe I would quit and try another game.

if we invite good players and give them a good start point they will grow faster even with all the cons you mentioned, after all if the game was perfect in all aspects that only would mean that the best would be on top.

The time you were a great fleeter I was nothing else than a middle ranked player, you and Gumppy tried for weeks to get my fleet, well I found ways to hide it and you never found it down, after your return you decided to become miner just because the big sharks were after you, I believe you just adapted as you do not have the needed time to be a fleeter.

Concerning the Rips power: if they were not so powerful who could deal with big turtles ?
Now we have a ship the LG that cost quite a lot but can kill Rips easily,you said that low cost fleets can destroy much more expensive fleets, yeah that is true, but a Rip fleet can destroy fleets only if they are on lanx or the player is fast a sleep as they need long time flight, now with the more expensive fleets you can perform hits within few min, so that is nothing more than the style you decide to play.

I believe the ratio Moon destruction/ Rip destruction is very low, I would prefer a 50%-50% chances . and if the number of rips exceed to much the number required to destroy the Moon the chance of rip destruction should increase, so the attacker need to decide: Send the required number of rips and maybe get ninjad or a bigger number and more chances to lose his fleet, that would help players to protect their Moons.

About the Dev Team I do not know if they changed personal the last months, what I can say is that they are willing and working to make ZE the game all we want.

I know the dev team have been working a lot recently and done some nice things, but there is still just too much wrong for the real veterans to want to settle here. Most of them actually have no problem starting from scratch as long as everything works properly.

Take Speed for example, I loved starting from scratch there and have a hell of a nice time being a fleeter and kicking tail. But then there are a few players who come in building 10 or so RIP's and have a fleet worth 20k points that my fleet worth over 250k points can't kill.. there is a serious case of balance that needs to be addressed.

If RIPs weren't so powerful who would kill the big turtles? Well, that is another problem that needs to be addressed, Light Lasers need either their cost doubling or shield/weapon power halved to be in balance with everything else.

Then there's the Rapid Fire and shield regeneration mechanics, need to be altered drastically and put into balance with everything else.

Sure, this is a very fun game and I wouldn't leave it for any other similar one, but literally everything here needs re-balancing. Making a good game isn't just about tactics and community, the devs need to make sure everything attains a state of balance, which is something ZE is heavily lacking.

Obviously, me saying all this is useless, since the universes are far to old to change anything on this scale and have an effect. What we need to do (by we I mean ZE devs) is to fix and balance every problem that makes ZE suck compared to that other game, then remove the ability to buy resources (Imperial Support), maybe add a few new cool features.. hard coded trading centres, revamped expeditions etc.. then put all that good stuff into a new ~5x speed universe and I can promise you thousands of players from that other game will flock here like moths to the flame.

But as I said, the sad reality is, with the game in this state, no good player from that other game will want to spend their time trying here. I know, because I have many friends over there who I have tried to bring over, and each and every time it is always the mechanics that drive them away, not the points.

Nice idea Pkromm. We are open to whichever idea will bring more players to Zorg Empire.

The discussion about pros and cons as presented by Istalris is baseless in my opinion. For example Istalris, you complain about moon size limit which is already at 9900. You complain about RIPS and Turtles being overpowered in the same time. You complain about all and everything. Get your facts straight and come with specific proposals; we are here to see what is best for the game and implement it. You end up claiming that no one would come to ZE but you first of all make sure to cancel your own saying by being an integral part of this game since start, with a small break.

I prefer pkromm's approach ( I also like his counters to the cons fired at the game) which is full of positive aura for the game and I hope more will follow his approach.

What I want to underline as our top weapon right now is that our universes are all active. It is rare to find a 2year old universe to be active like it happens with X-TREME.

Also keep in mind that there are many players who prefer to be #1 in a weak,inactive universe rather be #100 in X-TREME for example. This alone is the worst drawback for anyone joining Zorg Empire. Other companies fight this by adding a new universe every month in an efford to keep everyone happy; We will not bite it. It is better to be #100 in ZE rather #1 anywhere else

In this sense, the inceptives to keep incoming players in, will not work much. Just spread the word and incorportate new members in the community. This would be more than enough. You cannot force someone to become a Legend after all.
