The end of the road

As the title says ..it is all over. The planets are gone, the fleet is gone, and my computer is dead!(had to borrow my sisters laptop to make this post!)To much going on in real life to worry about buying a new rig atm so that as they say is that.

To all the mates i have had thru my time here its been real. This past week when Eric and i knew we was done and moving on we had many thoughts on what we would do with our fleets. His 1st tests discovered we couldn't ACS attack I.B. ..the thought of an 90bil tie wasn't any good.So he feed his to I.B. and i began the thought process of where mine would go,if anywhere. After some careful thought i decided it needed to go to someone who has no political ties with anyone, would use it in the aggressive manner it was created on,and would help restore some balance in the zorg world. The name of that person will not be handed out but i expect some results from that 55bil in resources soon ;)

Very few get to choose how they exit a game and restoring some 'balance' is something virtually no one has done here in zorg. There has always been that expectation a fleet should go to a friend or mate, but as usual my level and line of thinking has never been like anyone else.Love it or hate it,my style is unique to say the least..to quote another player from a different game ..'He is an extraordinary tactician.',..if the legacy i leave behind,(if there is such a thing in online games) was to be summed up in any way then i guess that is how i would prefer to be remembered..but @sshole works too!!

Anyhow Rob,Mark,Dene,Jason, and all the rest keep it real and soon as i can,I will chat with you all later..And Rob if you can pass info to Big E that i am dead in the water atm that would be grand.Puter boots up once in awhile but soon as chat boxes comes up from hoo and IM it freezes me up,along with other apps..7 years wasnt to bad a life for that ancient machine!

Gumppy/-Death-/Dave signing out :boohoo: :boohoo:

Dave it has been a pleasure, there is no way that anyone can hold up to the legacy you have created here in zorg. It has been a huge pleasure working with both you and eric, hopefully i can be half the player either of you were. I have informed E for you. Best of luck to you in real life, and cant wait until you get that computer fixed so we can chat.

while, the day has finely come. would have been nice seeing them planets stick around though for all of us to farm :D oh well. and now that makes me wonder who has received the fleet lol

best of luck with RL.

lets hope now since we lost 2 great fleeters that some of these other people drop some balls and start making fleets :wall:

You're a true ZE legend Gump...it was great getting to know. I'm going to miss having our occasional "logical" chats. Don't be a stranger now...come back to visit every once in a while.
