why in standard is stuff more expensize like colony ships in standard they cost 4x what they do in x-treme and espoinage probes are also more expensize. i find it is unfair.

It's quite idiotic considering how hard it is to profit from fleeting already.

Comparing the 2 universes is not good. As much as they are similar, they are different. Everything about Standard was dictated to slow it down for the casual gamer.

I know standard was made to be a slow server, but all it is really doing is letting it be a bigger gap between the top and bottom players. If everything cost more and take longer to build and you earn less. Then it is natural that once someone gets away and start attacking other people. It will take then that much longer to rebuild. Like when I was number 1. I didnt have anyone with attacking because if I wanted to attack everyone. I could aways keep the top 110 under me by attacking the every day. That got boring and then I had Rava to play with. But it was not worth taken his defence out at that time anymore because it would take to much to rebuild my fleet. But think about it. How are you post to rebuild when that one person keep attacking you.

the growth curve for these games is more of 2^n curve hence it is likely that ppl starting ahead eventually are fitted to have advantages.
