The score board refreshes every three hours but I keep missing to calculate when is the next refresh. I bet all of you will like the idea of a countdown to the next refresh.

PS: I am not sure whether it's a suggestion or just discussion so I put it here in general discussion.

I'm not sure how often the the scoreboard updates. It says "Score board, updates approximately every 60 minutes" in the Score Board screen.

For the point update, it's every 3 hours. Though it's not 3, 6,9 etc. It is @ 1:10, 4:10, 7:10, 10:10 etc.

Why would you need the countdown anyway? Are you hunting me?

And no. I don't want a countdown. Since it may change in the future if the server gets upgraded.

Well, I have declared all ready that anyone up in the point ladder is a rival didn't I, ?
I just though it would be a nice add-in to the page, less unnecessary brain work.

That would only be useful for players with points bordering the 10k barrier.. And the people attacking them too.
It also affects the players below 10k. Though I think it's a cheap-shot to reduce your points so you can just attack someone with less than /5 of your total points.

Once your building + research reaches 10k. The score update won't really matter unless you are observing fleet movements through the fluctuation in the points.

P.S. And no I never intentionally attacked someone with less than /5 of my total points.

Can anybody tell me when and at what interval the scoreboard data gets refreshed?
Please if possible provide GMT or for local provide the loc bearing.

That'd be nice, but it would make hiding a fleet a lot easier since you could just move the fleet before the update and it wouldn't register.

Ranking should not be a source of information after all. It's just a utility. If you want to find a fleet you should work at it rather look in here to find who got the bigger guns, by fetching fleet points. We are allowed to opt out from Score Board, why hold for ranking!!!
