I assumed it was either because he was in an alliance with someone I probed, but then I saw he didn't have an alliance. So the only other reason was that he decided to tell me of his existence. Not expecting him to be profitable, I probed for the lulz. He turned out to be profitable, a very nice profit. Of course, he decided to respond to me with something that made me want to hit him more.

I responded with just no and then he said...

I waited a few hours then hit him...lots of times. He was very profitable. Was a fun night...I even raided with a RIP since I was out of LCs.

That concludes our lesson for new players on how to get hit.

Well that is not how you grow. Keep a respectful eye on the top players but don't blink with the other eye but use it to keep a vigilant scope on them as well. Learn from them so that you can response properly when you are ready.

What are the best cavalry to bring on for grounding IPMs?
Bomber comes into mind but how effective would that be with a shell in effect?

Well there is no way I suppose, unless you hax their account and blow them off or destroy the planet 5 attacks/day and keep esping and lanxing em for shipment until they pull out.

I'm not worried about him...I can destroy everything if I wanted to. He builds a pathetic defense hoping it will stop me.
