Do you care about the way people type i understand it needs to be readable but by common vote should i type properly? i can just quicker not to....

I think you should type as best as you could.
Some people will not take you seriously if you don't.
Sometimes it is really annoying reading improperly typed sentences.
English is not our natural language but....

I don't expect perfect typing, since I am far from typing perfectly. Bu7 wen ppl strt tpng lik dis, I want to strangle them. o.O

Really, why do people type "dis" instead of "this?" It is one extra letter, is it too hard to ask for at least an EFFORT to type correctly? I've never understood it. It just boggles the mind. You're not saving very much energy by not typing a couple letters every now and then. How many calories do you burn typing on a keyboard? Like 5 an hour?

I, personally, tend not to take people very seriously when they type horribly (See above example). I don't necessarily think they are dumb, I just don't particularly pay attention to what they have to type. If you don't take the time to at least make your posts readable, I'm not gonna take my time to try and translate it. Its just a common courtesy, I think.

I think chat is a bit different, since it is instant, and sometimes you get to typing too fast to make it good. I'm talking about in a forum.
