When this is enabled, trade forum will close - your ships will not be able to any longer transport goods to other PLAYERS and all trading in-game will happen through that post. (It will be very handy, we promise this). So anyway, we speak for a very short term decision.
So your saying that nobody will be allowed to transport resources to other players? I agree with myrsee, what if your alliance mates help you with collecting debris? How would they get the resources back to you? And what if you wanted to help along a weaker alliance mate by pushing(within the rules)?

i believe that adding GO's to the game and sending them a message after the DF has been picked up with a copy/paste of the recycle report and who you picked it up for should suffice, then you can use the TRADING POST to trade it to them. It actually should save you some deut on the transport. However, like all things that can be manipulated, this will as well, and it will be fine tuned until the bugs and unthought of addendums are adjusted. Until then lets give it a try and see how it works and what needs to be adjusted, if anything.

I have no idea how trade post will work. I remember zorg mentioned that DF will only be able to be picked up they attacker and defender. I would be happy with what ever change as long as it is balanced and carefully thought out

You will be able to send your traders to anyone you wish.

However not with your cargo ships. Cargo ships are hard to monitor and we want full control of all these debris field trading to control milking. With the trade post, we will hold history for up to 6 months if need be, so cheaters will be able to be caught anytime.

The biggest anti cheat protection though, is that game operators that will be assigned from the playerbase itself, will have full access on these logs to search themselves for possible cheating. This is something that we cannot do now as transporting right now constitutes fleet moving and this is far too sensitive data to show to anyone. However, the trade post reports will not be of any real value and will be safe to be shown to game operators without potential exploitation.

We just plan ahead.

That is why most of the games similiar to this do not allow the GO's to be actively playing the game, or in an alliance.
